Need a mature, responsible female with high integrity residing in South Edmonton to subcontract as a Rental Agent.
 
Basic Responsibilities include:
  • Take digital photos of properties for listings and upload on websites with detailed advertising
  • Accept all renter calls on south side listings (must be familiar with the property descriptions and be able to answer tenant questions)
  • Screen callers to determine suitability to show
  • Show SE and SW Edmonton properties
  • Do tenant background checks on employment and rental history (possibly TVS credit checks)
  • Notify successful tenants (and sometimes unsuccessful ones)
  • Complete sign-in documents – lease agreement, inspection reports
  • Collect security deposits 
  • Collect rent up front for lease term in post dated cheques
  • Perform periodic "glance" inspections on south side properties
 
  Requirements:
  • Computer with printer/fax/scanner
  • Interview/screening skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Marketing Skills
  • Writing Skills
  • Cash handling – (must be bondable)
  • Time flexibility
  • Professional attitude
  • Familiarity with Landlord & Tenant rights (or willing to learn)

Income:This is a subcontracted position that pays a commission, bonus commissions as well as flat fees for extra responsibilities
